SPARC Workshop on Digital Twins
A digital twin can be defined as “A virtual representation of the real world, including physical objects, processes, relationships, and behaviors” (Esri). Digital twins overlap with GIS whenever the system to be twinned exists in the geographic domain and at geographic scales. This SPARC Workshop of 30 leading academics will provide a comprehensive look at geographic dimensions of digital twins.
